Under the hood of this green Machine sits a 396 cubic inch big block Chevrolet that produces plenty of power. The '71 Elcamino belongs to the Third Generation of this line of Chevrolet's. Introduced in 1968 the longer body El Camino was based upon the Chevelle station wagon/four-door sedan wheelbase, and iit also shared the Chevelle/Malibu exterior and interior trims. The cosmetic modifications for the 1971 edition included a fresh front-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights.
