This Deluxe Series is a solid example of Chevy's kickstart to the iconic 210. The 1950s was the peak of two tone paint jobs and this car is no disappointment in that department. The main body is finished in a beautiful powder blue and is perfectly accented by the white roof. The car's presence is topped off with an abundance of chrome and custom pinstriping that adds just the right amount of flair. If you want a typical hot rod, look elsewhere. Under the hood of this 210 is a 235 cubic inch solid lifter straight six featuring dual carburetors, Offenhauser intake and Fenton headers. 1948 was the final year for the 'old style Ford', which had been in production since 1941 and interrupted by World War II, before the new 'shoebox' body style took over going into the next decade. This Black painted Ford comes with plenty of era-appropriate chrome (with some brand new brightwork replacements for the grille/headlight surrounds in the trunk), restored running boards and new white wall tires. The Super Deluxe models like this '48 came with factory extras like a clock, arm rest on both driver and passenger doors, ashtrays, a horn ring, and so-called 'extra quality upholstery'. On this car, the Tan and Red interior is a really nice place to sit and has been completely re-done; the radio, dashboard and gauges have been restored to original condition and turn signals added for safety. 60 years before it became standard on new cars, this 1948 Ford has a push button start mechanism! Exterior.

We see a nice application of many gallons of maroon paint, well-worked bulbous steel panels, straight and true, and plenty of well-preserved trim spears, bumpers, badging, and brite-work. In 1948 fenders still protruded from the main body, and a running board became a flared rocker, but the curved steel styling remained, and it would be a few more years until the fenders would melt into the bodies. Maroon steel wheels sport chrome trim rings, and dog dish hub caps, and are wrapped in wide whites all around. Noted a few scratches on the passenger rear quarter near the rear bumper.
