This car has some great originality and has been restored throughout the years with the intent of keeping it original in appearance. The interior is the correct two-tone gray with cloth seating surfaces and light gray vinyl surrounds. The dash is original and had a very interesting design for the time featuring a clear glass speedometer plate that you can see through all the way to the back of the cluster. In addition everything was designed to be round including the clock, radio and Ford Magic Air heating and cooling control. The radio has 2 arrow markers on the dial for emergency information in the event of an enemy attack.
On the exterior of the car you will notice very smooth body panels and the big bright shiny chrome that made these cars iconic. This '55 is finished off with new wide whitewall tires with original and very nice full hubcaps with red medallions. The I-6 insignia on each front fender show how proud Ford was of the 235 Cubic inch Inline 6-cylinder that starts up and runs fantastic. This car is remarkably quiet as well and gets up to speed...

Painted Raven Black with a white roof and equipped with spoked hub caps with spinner knock offs and white wall tires, this certainly has the look of the 60's. Believed to be 90% original and for the most part, unrestored. Powering this 500XL is the original 289 cubic inch V8 and three speed automatic transmission. recently a new water pump, new muffler and new rear bumper have been installed for maintenance reasons. Inside are black vinyl bucket seats, center console and a white headliner to match the exterior's color combination. The 500 was the top of the line model and the XL added trim and a floor mounted shifter and bucket seats. 1964 was the...

A mid-year model crossover, the '59 Fords were quite the mixed bag of badging. At various shows you'll often find patrons arguing whether it's a Fairlane, Fairlane 500, Galaxie, or Galaxie 500. Truth be known, they were actually all one in the same. Taking on the bigger and boatier lines of the Thunderbird, the Galaxies truly took on big bodied form, superseding the Ford Fairlanes. Continuing the Fairlane's roll as Ford's full-sized sedan, they had various options in various trims. This particular Fairlane being a two-door, still has a sporty feel, while maintaining the room needed for a family. This particular '59 Ford for sale left the factory with a 200 horsepower 292 Y-block engine. It's since been replaced with the more modern 5. 0 liter (302 cubic inch) small block Ford V8. With performance goodies like headers and dual exhaust, this small block Ford rumbles and pushes this 1959 Ford Fairlane for sale along with ease. Backing the small block Ford is an automatic transmission. Built for easy cruising, this 1959 Ford for sale is eager to take a trip down to local show or drive in movie! The exterior is...
