The term 'Hotrod' was used in the late 30's in Southern California to define the new phenomena of running modified cars over vast dried up lake beds. Others would say that the term came even earlier when the bootleggers would hop up cars to run illegal liquor during prohibition. The one thing that everyone will agree on is a Hotrod is an early American car that has been highly modified to go fast in a straight line. I do believe this 31 has got every aspect of that covered and then some. The roof line gives it a very aggressive look with it being chopped a total of 3 inches it is sure to turn heads everywhere you go. Under the steel hood you will see a 383 CID small block crammed between the custom frame rails. It's not just a regular old 383 stroker V-8, oh no no!
