Not only is this remarkable Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino one of the 1,000 limited production editions built by Ford in the spring of 1976, of which only 300 or fewer are still known to be in existence, it was one of the two used by Spelling Goldberg Productions on the actual 1970s TV series. According to a hand written letter it was identified as Unit 129 and was used as a camera car on the TV series for the 77 through 79 seasons. Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul sat in and drove this car!

The vehicle comes with documentation verifying its use on the TV series in a letter from Buddy Loesch, who worked in the TV show-s transportation department along with a cancelled check from Spelling Goldberg Productions with the car-s description on it listing it as -Unit 129. - The studio replaced the original 351 with a 429 4 bbl. The red bubble light, police radio, siren, wigwag headlights and telephone seen on the series are still present.

No expense was spared in completeing the restoration....
