This second-generation Skylark Custom convertible has been transformed to look like the ultimate Buick, the 455 Gran Sport.

The Buick was bought new by a well-known Boston Eye Surgeon in July of 1971. He then sold it to his son, a Texas Attorney and avid car collector, who expensively converted it into a 455 Gran Sport tribute. The Buick has always been loved and meticulously maintained. It has had no accidents.

The 455 Buick big block was taken from a donor car in a Pismo Beach, CA Salvage Yard. It was then rebuilt from the bare block up (using the date coded 1971 Buick big block) by legendary New England engine builder (Dave Eaton, Mid Cape Automotive Machine, Hyannis, MA) for a cost of $14K.

It has all new internals and is balanced & blueprinted.
