1967 was the year that GM finally stepped up to the plate and had a car that would compete with Ford-s highly successful Mustang. There was only one problem, by 1967 Ford had already sold close to 1. 5 million Mustangs so to say GM had an uphill battle would be an understatement. They would prevail however and become one of GM-s shining achievements and an overall American icon. This 67 has a rebuilt title as it should considering everything on this car has been rebuilt. The exterior of the car looks great and has been done in that classic red with black racing stripes. The cowl induction hood is a great addition and is correct to the year. With matching front and rear spoilers the car looks like it-s ready to go sitting there. Of course this is a convertible so hopefully the top will never be seen and it stays tucked away nicely where it belongs. However if the top must come out that-s ok since the black looks great especially against the red paint.
