Already fairly rare in the market, the 1964 1/2 Mustangs were considerably unique to the later produced 1965 Mustangs, with very subtle differences. The most obvious differences were the choice of engines, with this one being a 'U' code 170 cid Inline 6. This engine was later dropped by Ford and replaced by the 200 cid Inline 6. These little 6 cylinders might not have made an impressive amount of horsepower, but they were one of the most solid and reliable engines made during this generation. The transmission is a 3-speed manual, which gave the driver full control of the powerband on these engines, which ultimately got fantastic fuel mileage for the time, with some estimates reaching over 20 miles per gallon! Some of the more subtle differences noted in these cars and the 1965's were the hood having rounded edges where it meets the headlight buckets, and the spacing of the word Mustang on both Fenders. The interior of the car is done in a very luxurious off-white Vinyl bench seat, which was actually a very rare option on most Mustangs during the 60's. The exterior is painted in a beautiful Prairie Gold Metallic, which when matched with the Interior,...

This 1965 Mercury Caliente is originally from California and it truly shows when looking over the condition of this vehicle. Due to being a 1965 this Comet is equipped with the iconic front fascia which consists of a set of stacked headlights, which was a very popular design among many Mercury competitors in 1965; such as Pontiac and Cadillac. This 1965 Comet is sporting a fantastic paint job done in Viper Red that really makes the all the chrome on this Mercury stand apart from others. The interior of this Comet sports a crisp black vinyl and velour bench seat that provides perfect comfort and is set off by embroidered surfer -guy and gal- on the seat along with a AM/FM radio for all those classic tunes. You will notice while gripping the color matched steering wheel and color matched dash board that this Mercury-s interior is in great shape and a fantastic design. This 1965 Mercury Comet also has modern safety amenities as well with power door locks, power trunk, and also seatbelts that really make it one of a kind. This 1965 Comet Caliente is powered by a smooth running V8 and is paired to a 3-Speed Automatic Transmission...

Backing the V8 is an automatic transmission which makes shifting easy. Combined with power steering and power brakes, this Skylark for sale is almost too easy to drive, you may never want to stop! The exterior of this convertible cruiser, is a lovely shade of red. The driver quality Buick shows why it was Chevrolet's classy brother, with lovely polished fender trim and aesthetically gorgeous chrome front and rear bumpers. The red paint is complimented by the classiness of a white convertible top with glass window and the sportiness of Magnum 500 style rally wheels with Buick center caps. The Mags are wrapped in whitewall radial tires, which make this car handle like floating on a cloud. The interior consists of red vinyl bench seats both front and rear. The front sport bench offers a fold down arm rest when wanted and enough room for three adults when needed. The 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon. This all stock 289 V8 C-code engine, with a C4 automatic is the true meaning of entry level for the Mustang enthusiast. Under the hood of this Mustang you will find what is believed to be the original 289 V8 with a 2 barrel carburetor. While the current owner does know if the engine has been rebuilt, it doesn-t smoke or burn oil, and has excellent throttle response. A new carburetor, new distributor, fuel pump, spark plugs and plug wires have been recently installed. This Mustang also has a new set of brakes and a fresh battery, so the general maintenance has been taken care of and this Pony is ready to drive. The chrome work is in very good shape and gives this little pony a clean look. The Mustang has been repainted and the color is very close to Signal Flare Red. To set the bright red paint off is a nice white vinyl top. The vinyl...
