This '57 custom is an homage to a similar '57 Bel Air that Dave Jenkins used to show, with a few slight differences. Although Jenkins' car was black with silver scallops, and had slightly deeper (lower) fender skirts, but they both pay excellent tribute to what a 'back in the day' 1957 Bel Air custom would have been. Covered in a beautiful Majestic Red, with custom silver scallops adorning the sides, this is one sleek Tri-Five. The car was nosed (had the 'gunsights' filled in), decked, shaved, and lowered 3 inches. Sporting a 1957 Buick grille, 'bubble' fender skirts, lake pipes, 1957 Nomad rear bumper, custom taillights, dummy spots, custom tuck and roll upholstery, a 350 CID small block Chevy V8, and power front discs, this is a classic cruiser in the best sense. The gorgeous paint scheme screams 'I'm custom everywhere else, too' at its admirers.
