Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large 'teardrop' design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, the Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Starting with the exterior is a Deuce Customs Body with a 4 inch recessed firewall and 2 5/8 inch chop top. A matching hood has been fabbed up to match the body with sides being left open to show off the bad ass 392 Hemi that powers this beauty. Two 600 cfm Edelbrock carburetor insure the massive Hemi gets plenty of fuel.

Both engine & trans both have approx 12k miles on them since a rebuild. A 16 gallon fuel cell will insure you can travel for a bit, before needing to stop to refuel. A custom built 700R4 four speed automatic transmission is mated to the Hemi. Insuring the power gets to the ground is a Ford 9 inch rear end with a posi trak and 3. 89 gears. The front suspension is a TCI straight axle with front drilled front disc brakes.

What-s really cool is this is not your typical fiberglass body, but has been steel reinforced in the cab and the doors. Finishing off the exterior accents are --28 Cadillac Headlights with -37 Ford tail lights with flathead rod stands....

The Beastly 454 CID V8 is what powers this monster with on 700 miles on it since the rebuild. It-s paired with a T400 automatic transmission and can get up and go with even some of the modern sports cars out on the streets. The Edelbrock carburetor has been adjusted to provide just the right amount of air to fuel ratio and make for very good response time. This C10 also features a set of headers paired to an exhaust system that will scream for attention running down the road. This 56- Bel Air is finished in the beautiful Sierra Gold over Adobe Beige color combination. The paint was resprayed about 10 years ago and shows very well. The interior is finished in the same color scheme, which obviously matches the exterior perfectly. The interior is in excellent condition, it is free from any rips, tears, or any signs of major wear. Powering this iconic Bel Air hardtop is a 350 CID V8 engine from a 1971 Chevrolet that has been bored 0. 30 over and has 882 heads. An Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor, alloy valve covers and air cleaner, and chrome alternator dress up the engine bay as well.
