This is the real deal GTO, numbers matching, not a clone, as the consignor states. Powered by the legendary 455 cubic-inch V-8, mated to the famous turbo 400, and GM 12-bolt rear end. Originally an option package for the Pontiac Tempest in 1964 and 1965, the GTO became its own model from 1966-1971. Just two years prior to this GTO, in 1968, the car was named Motor Trend's car of the year.

This GTO is best described as a driver, as the paint has a nice shine, and looks fine from a short distance. She is painted in Green, and with the rear spoiler, factory mags - she just brings you back to the Muscle-Car days! This rare 1956 Chevrolet Cameo has been frame-off restored to preserve its classic good looks. Only 1452 Cameos were made in 1956, and this factory V8 truck was assembled in Kansas City. This Cameo has an excellent body, high quality Omaha Orange paint, and all the correct V8 and Cameo trim. The original 265 and manual transmission have been upgraded to a 350 V8 engine with a turbo 350 automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear end. The custom orange and white interior complements the exterior paint and retains the nostalgic look. It's hard not to smile when you drive down the street with this truck's big back window, shiny chrome, oak bed, and wide whitewall tires.
