1999 Plymouth Prowler
View Description
The Prowler was a production model that ran from 97, 99-02 ad with only 11702 made it is no wonder they have become highly collectible as of late. Originally inspired from Chip Foose-s Hemisfear which is the car that really put Foose on the map. The first thing you will notice on this low mileage beauty is its extremely slick black paint job. The Indy style front open air front wheels solidify its Streetrod heritage while massive Rear ones keep with its modern appeal. Thought the Hemisfear was designed around Chrysler-s HEMI, the decision was made to go modern with the motor. The 3. 5 liter all aluminum V6 was cutting edge in 99. The modern Muscle car rage had not quite begun and with this little screamer putting out a very respectable 253 ponies it was a perfect match for this new age hotrod. Mated up to a 4 speed automatic transmission does not sound to high-tech but when you add the auto stick feature the fun really gets going. Simply drop the console mounted gear shifter all the way down and slam on the gas. Once the RPM-s climb past the 3 grand mark the power really comes alive....
