Built with simplicity in mind, this 1950 Ford F1 is equipped with only the essentials but did not have any expense spared during the process. The heart and soul of this pick up is a completely rebuilt 1950 Ford flathead V8 bored. 60 over and roughly 1,500 miles since completion. The lope at idle provided by the Comp Cams Thumpr (#41-600-7) is the only music you will need on your ride and is very distinguishable sound. Also equipped is Offenhauser pistons, Mahle rings, Isky valve spring, and Ford rods, crank and block. Hooked up behind the flathead is a 3-speed manual transmission rebuilt at the same time as the engine and shifts smoothly between gears. The cab of the truck is still the 1950 Ford F1 but has been heavily modified to give it the much sleeker look it has now. 6- of the top were sliced out to bring the profile lower and was moved 18- further back on the frame allowing it to run without fenders.
