Catalinas were Pontiac-s -small- full-sized cars. In 1964, the sport coupe and convertible body styles could be ordered with the 2+2 package for the first time. The option included a 389-cid V8 that pumped out 267 hp with a Hydra-Matic transmission, plus bucket seats, a center console with a vacuum gauge, and a special Morrokide interior. In 1964, only 7,998 Catalinas were built with the 2+2 package. Picture a big GTO, and you-ve got the 1964 Catalina 2+2.
