1967 was the only year for the GTA, which was a Mustang GT with an automatic transmission. They were available in coupe, fastback, or convertible and with either the 289 or 390 engine.
This GTA is still packing its original 320-horsepower, 390 cid V8, which is the most powerful of the block options (not including Shelby Mustangs). With only 3,000 miles since its rebuild, this 390 cid V8 is backed by a C6 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission. It breathes in though a Holley Carburetor with Edelbrock High Rise Intake, and out through stainless valve Headers and Magna Flow dual exhaust.
The upgrades in this GTA are amazing. Under the hood it is cleaned up and chromed out in all the right places. There is a brand-new battery and electronic ignition, and to keep it cool there is a new aluminum Radiator and 3 electric fans. This baby rides on new BFGoodrich performance tires with 15- upgraded Mustang Rally wheels, and it stops on a dime with power 4-wheel disk brakes.
