1967 was the last year for the first generation GOAT which is arguably the first true muscle car. It was also the year for a lot of firsts. The 400 CID was introduced this year which was basically the popular 389 just punched out a little. This was done primarily to increase torque due to the increasing weight of the now very luxurious GTO. It was also the first year that body molding along with the now classic 6. 6 liter emblem. This 67 GTO is very rare being that it is an actual post car. Pontiac had only built a little over 7000 post cars with many of them being pulled apart upon delivery to stuff huge cubic inch motors in to go drag racing. This numbers matching car has the original 335 HP 400 in it that was rebuilt less than 1500 miles ago. It was bored. 040 over with a new set of pistons, rings, and bearings installed as well.
