The F series line of trucks was introduced in 1948 as the 'Bonus-Built' truck. This was due to the simple fact that the new line was just that a completely new line. No longer were there trucks based upon a car chassis it was based on a completely new design. With all new sheet metal and a much larger cab the new F1 was an instant hit. This 48 was a frame off build that took 2 years to complete. The paint, a custom blend, will have everyone looking at the next show. The fiberglass fenders and running boards are done so good that if you weren't told they were glass you would think they were steel. The wood bed has a slick gloss poly over it with the chrome slats accenting it nicely. The wide white wall tires compliment the painted wheels and dog-dish hub caps nicely and complete the exterior look. Under the hood lies a small block Ford 302 that was bored. 030 over and gone through with an upgraded cam being added before getting reinstalled in the truck. The SSR is a retractable hardtop truck that was based off the Trailblazer chassis manufactured from 2003 to 2006. The first couple years of manufacturing did not bring the results that Chevrolet had hoped for but in 2005 things would change drastically. Performance would get a huge jump with the introduction of the now infamous 6. 0 LS2 V8. Producing an astonishing 390 HP the SSR would finally be able to wear that SS badge proudly. With its short production run it is only a matter of time before they become the next hot thing ion the collector car market. This 2 owner has had an easy life driven only on the nicest of days. The Monterey was introduced in 1950 as part of the Mercury Eight series. The car was designed to compete head to head with GM's hardtop coupes which had taken the automotive world by storm. The pilarless design, known simply as a hardtop, gave the appearance of a convertible with the all of the advantages of a fixed roof. This gorgeous --55 is a classic example of what the 50's were all about. The Teal Body and White Hard Top gives the classic 50-s paint scheme and the chrome trim absolutely screams Americana. Add to this the wide white wall tires with the two rears being concealed by a set of fender skirts finishing off the period correct exterior. The Nova has long been a great platform for the hot rod scene turning these low budget grocery getters into asphalt pounding red light bandits. This 71 is no exception and has had an extensive amount of work to bring it to what you see today. The slick black paint is fresh and looks like glass with the bumpers painted to match it is one of the most sinister Nova's I have seen. The silver racing stripes offset black perfectly and gives the Nova a look all to itself. Pop the hood and you will see where the real fun begins. A massive 468 has been shoved gracefully between the frame rails yet looks like it was meant to be there. 1967 would mark the end of the first generation Chevelle line. Very popular with the public the Malibu line was its biggest seller with its two door sport coupe's being the best sellers. This black beauty shows exactly why they were such a popular model. This straight as an arrow example was owned by the previous owner for an amazing 18 years.
