1967 marked the first the major redesign since its debut. Even though it was longer and wider the original 108' wheel base was maintained. With the wider grille opening upfront and concaved headlights outback gave the Mustang a much meaner look. This 67 was stripped down and took all the away apart. The frame was then coated with a black enamel and looks very clean. The inner and outer fender wells we're replaced along with the floor pans making this a very stout 67. The original 289 under the hood though it has been rebuilt and now has a 4 barrel sitting on top which really wakes these little V8's up. Accented with chrome valve covers and air cleaner it gives enough shine to catch your eye but you won't be spending all weekend having to clean it either. The transmission is the ever popular smooth running C-4 Cruise-O-Matic that turns the standard 2. 79 gears in the rear end. A set of factory disc upfront bring this convertible to a respectable stop. In 2000 Ford suffered a slight set back to their flagship Mustang known as the Cobra SVT Cobra. Ford replaced the intake manifold and computer components as well as the entire exhaust from the catalytic to the tailpipes in order to achieve a 'true' 320 hp at the crankshaft. Because of this blunder, the 320 hp 2000 Cobra SVT Cobra was pulled from production to return in 2001 again rated at 320 hp. This Performance Red Cobra SVT Cobra has come a long way since that original 320 hp. Approximately 1 year after its purchase, the owner decided it needed just a little more. This desire for more horsepower lead to a few discussions with Kenny Brown Performance for a few upgrades. The decision was made to upgrade this snake to a Cobra S by Kenny Brown. Most notable in this conversion, is the addition of a Vortech Supercharger to the 4. 6 4 valve V-8, allowing the car to produce 420 hp. Along with the additional hp, Kenny Brown-s Extreme Subframe System is added for improved handling. 1966 was a great year for the Coronet selling a little over a quarter million units the B body was looking better than ever. With a number of different trim levels as well as engine options it's no wonder they sold so many. Revised in 1965 to become the Coronet once again, well maybe I should just say renamed in 65. The Coronet was really just a Polaras that they stuck a Coronet badge on. This 1966 is a great example of what was capable with one of these relatively small & lightweight cars. Starting with a 2 door post model for its extra rigidity the car was painted to an original 1966 Light Blue which was the original color. A base coat clear coat system from PPG was used giving this MOPAR a very clean sick finish. With the exterior taken care of the next step was a heart transplant. A 1970 383/383 HP motor was built and installed giving this Coronet a whole new lease on life. 1939 was an exciting time for Plymouth, not only had they a complete new line up but they also hit a major milestone. The 3 millionth car would roll off the assembly line this coming only after the 2 millionth rolled off in 37. With all of those cars you would think at least one of them was a Sedan delivery. Since that just was not the case the current owner decided to make one. A 4 door Sedan was the donor and after a ton of hours and fabrication a 1939 Plymouth Sean Delivery was created. Under the hood a classic small block 350 was sourced giving the little delivery plenty of power while keeping it reliable, after all this things made to drive. A Camaro front clip was sourced giving the 39 a great road feel with the luxury of power steering. The 700r4 not only handles the power from the 350 but gives you the ability to cruise down the highway t 70 without the motor turning 3 grand. 1967 was the first year for the totally revamped Dart. Available in 3 models; Dart, Dart 270, and Dart GT, Dodge had a little something for everyone in this new line up. The car was restyled and looked very similar to the rest of the Mopar of that day and turned out to be one of the best cars to turn into a street Machine. With its small body yet long wheel base the Dart was the perfect platform to go fast and look good while doing it. This 67 Dart GT has seen a lot of money, time, and sweat go into it in order to get where it is today. The body is in wonderful condition with no signs of mud or filler anywhere on the car it looks straighter than when it left Detroit. The yellow paint looks great and shows no signs of age or wear with all of the bright work in the same condition. With the lightweight removable hood painted the same black as the decals are done in everything ties together very nicely.
