The Plymouth GTX was introduced in 1967 as Plymouth's big-block performance model for the muscle car market. Based on a two-door Belvedere hardtop and convertible, the 'new' GTX came equipped with air grabber hood scoops, a special grille and tail panel, and 'pit stop' chrome gas cap. A quintessential muscle car, the Plymouth GTX continues to impress collectors with its speed, power, and cubic inches.

This 1970 GTX has went under a full rotisserie restoration completed only a year ago and retains the original numbers matching 440 cubic inch, 6-pack V8 that pushes out 390 horsepower and has been recently rebuilt during the full restoration. Backing up the big block powerhouse is the numbers matching A727 Torque Flight automatic transmission which shifts nice and smooth through all 3 speeds.

The Barracuda name plate had an impressive ten year run from 1964- 1974. Definitively marking their spot in the muscle car era, Chrysler is known for their high- performance power plants including the iconic 426 cubic inch Hemi V8. This Barracuda is a faithful recreation of a RO-23 Factory Super Stock Race Car and is a true sight to behold. This beautiful Cuda is very special, the owner provided us with a vin decoder that states that there are only 2 out there that came from the factory set up like this. As I stated there where only 2 Cuda's that came from the factory with a 340 CI that had a Gator Top so arguably this could be the only one left in the world that is set up like this one! Dating back to November of 2020 this car had a full rotisserie completed with almost everything gone through. This heavyweight Mopar is powered by a Donovan Block 540 Cubic Inch Hemi with STAGE5 heads running 2,650 horsepower. A Rossler 3 speed trans and a Ford 9' rear end with 4. 88 gets you down the track with et's in the 6. 90-7. 01 range at well over 200 MPH. Although the car has not been run with this new engine set up, this is a very close estimate. The chassis was professionally built by Lawson Race Craft and is solid as a rock. This Cuda' is a Deep Purple a PPG color with Black interior. A three-year project this car was completed in 2018, after what he calls a 'Complete restoration' The seller tells us that both the engine, a 440 CI V8 and transmission, 727 automatic are fresh with approximately 500 miles since being done. He also says that the car was equipped with a 383 from the factory. The rear is a Dana 60 with 3:73 gears.
