In 1966, the Chevy II received a major facelift, with significant changes made to the car's design. The '66-'67 Nova Hardtop Coupes are arguably some of the cleanest-looking 1960s-era cars out there, with their combination of 'straights and curves' in the body design, and nearly everyone who sees one on the road gives the thumbs up to their occupants. In addition to the physical changes, the 1966 Nova also could be had with a 350HP 327 CID V8, marking the beginning of the Nova as an affordable muscle car. This Chevy II started life as a six-cylinder car; but as most restored Novas get treated, this one received a laundry list of upgrade goodies, as well as a serious power upgrade. This car is powered by a potent GM Performance Parts 385 Fast Burn V8 engine (385 HP/385 Lb/Ft TQ), which is backed by a slick-shifting Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, and 3:07:1 gears in its Posi-equipped 10-bolt rear end. Chromed ram's head exhaust manifolds connect to a menacing-sounding dual exhaust system.
