After World War II Chevrolet was looking to revitalize their aging AK Series of trucks and brought the new Advance Design to the market. The Advance Design series brought forth a new look that was well-received and sales were strong. This series would see production from 1947-1955. Here we have a '50 model, and wow is she a beauty. This Chevy is one of the nicest modified and cleanly built trucks we have ever had here! if you want to be able to drive at 70mph and have the ride and steerability of a modern truck and be able to win some car shows, this truck will deliver. And so a frame-off began and brings what you now see in these images. The Chassis was swapped for a 90s S10 Chassis, which brings with it modern suspension, steering, and driveline. The Metallic Red paint looks terrific and has a lot of depth! The Rich Brown leather Interior upholstery looks very comfortable. Chevy C-10s are are the darlings of the custom truck market and highly desirable, ESPECIALLY short beds. This 68 C-10 is a cool patina custom, with a modern 5. 3L LS based V8 and matching 4L80 transmission. The truck sits on 20' American racing wheels with 4 wheel disc brakes. The exterior wears a unique artificially aged coat of orange and white two tone with fake rust and paint fade for character. Inside is a lovely custom leather wrapped interior with a two-tone dark saddle and light tan seats. The dash is painted to match with a leather top pad and new gauges and chrome steering column.
