Buick rolled out the Riviera in 1963 as a personal luxury car to compete with the Ford Thunderbird as well as Cadillacs and Rolls Royce of the time. The long wheelbase and comfortable suspension made for a ride that gave their competitors a run for the money. Complimenting the comfortable ride is the 425 CID V8 Nailhead V8 which output 340 Horsepower. This powerful V8 made the car a gentleman's muscle car and a great choice for a high powered businessman of the early 1960s. The powerful V8 is backed by the Super Turbine 400 automatic transmission which is referred to at the Turbo Hydramatic 400 under other GM brands. This particular example is finished in a timeless shade of white which shows the bodylines well. The chrome trim is in wonderful shape and compliments well the turbine style wheels with 'knock off' style hubcaps. Inside you'll find a beautifully styled black interior.
