The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a 'gentleman's' muscle car. The GTX was to be an exceptional blend of style and performance. What differentiated it from a normal Belvedere was its special grille and rear fascia, shared with the Satellite, chrome 'pit stop' fuel filler cap and optional racing stripes. This 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX has a massive 440 cubic inch V8 as the power plant that is linked to a very responsive 833 four speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission are both sporting a little over 1,000 miles since being built and are two very nice additions to this Belvedere that started out life as an original 318 V8 engine and 3 speed manual column shifter. The exterior paint color is a very rich and glossy black that is complimented very nicely by the black vinyl interior and the two really give the GTX a true muscle car look. After the war people were lined up waiting for General motors to start rolling out the new pickup line. That featured a new, larger windshield, bigger side and rear window glass, and optional rear-quarter windows vastly improved safety and drivability. Higher and wider cab doors made entry and exit easier. Another new feature, which further contributed to driver comfort and safety, was a fresh-air heater/defroster system, which brought fresh outside air into the cab and forced used air out through vents at the rear of the cab.

This Panel has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration that nearly make the vehicle a time Machine. In 1954 the truck was purchased by the Ziddel family in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Panel was used for deliveries of the family store. As many years passed, the truck was replaced and parked in a barn where it sat for approximately 40 years. In 2006, there was an estate auction where it was purchased. In 2011, the long awaited truck then got a second chance. The owners noticed that the VIN ended in 1007, decoding the fact that this Panel was the seventh off the assembly line! It now carries the nickname, 'lucky seven'. Powering the Panel is the believed to be, original 248 Inline 6 cylinder engine. These engines were vastly advertised as the new thing in performance and reliability. The Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe models were only produced in 1986 and 1987 with a total of only 6,052 released in 1987. That's only 8% of the total Monte Carlo production for that year. This Aerocoupe has received a massive list of powerplant modifcations. First and foremost, the original engine was replaced with a fresh heart pounding 383 V8 Stroker loaded with power. The engine is extensively chromed and boasts a set of Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Aeromotive fuel delivery system, with an MSD controlled Atomic fuel injection conversion system sitting atop a polished Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold. The Ford Model A has long been known as the canvas for hot rod builders due to their availability and aftermarket support. Our particular canvas has been painted up in traditional hot rod fashion. Left all steel as it should be, this A is painted in Hot Rod Satin black with incredible red and white hand drawn pin striping.
