This cute little 1961 MG MGA was originally made in Great Britain where the trunk is the boot and the hood is the bonnet. The initials MG stand for Morris Garage and was founded in 1924 creating little sports cars under its own moniker. The MGAs success in the American market in the late 1940-s and early 1950-s is what let to the design and creation of cars like the T-Bird and most notably the Corvette. Driving now started to become something fun and sporty in one of these little classics and the MGA delivered sexy lines and reliable mechanics to boot--. or rather to bonnet.
The little gem we are featuring in our Chicago Showroom has just finished a complete and documented frame off restoration. The exterior is finished in bright white with bespoke black hides. This car is as tasteful and elegant as it is fun and cute. The black top is also new and side windows are...
