This car is powered by the original 350 and 6 speed manual transmission. The first thing that you notice on this car is the airbrush work. The artist used the factory paint as his base and created this tribute to the American Eagle, America, and the Flag. It appears to be blowing in the wind going down both sides of the car. Other styling modifications include side panels on the rear window. They give the car a fastback look, and unique license plate holders that add a distinctive look to both the front and back. Open the hood and the tribute continues. Silhouettes of the twin towers are airbrushed on the underside of the hood and old glory is blazing on the engine covers. This awesome car is finished in Butternut Yellow with black vinyl interior. A color found on about 12. 5% of Camaro vehicles made this first model year. Powering this classic is the entry level 250 CID I-6 engine. The I-6 was the least powerful of the engine options available, but it was definitely the smoothest and most efficient. If you are looking for a gorgeous weekend cruiser or something to take to a car show, but aren't obsessed with crazy hp figures and winning races, then this is the engine for you. This car was left as an I-6 due to the fact that the engine and transmission are numbers matching and the owner wanted to preserve its originality. You will notice that this car has the RS appearance package too. This Chevrolet was purchased in 1980 and was completely disassembled, sand blasted, and rebuilt. Originality was a key part of the restoration, and the bar was certainly met with this build. The day restoration was complete this Business Coupe was a fair-weather driver, and always kept in a climate-controlled facility. The 216 CID six-cylinder engine is believed to be original to the 37- Chevrolet, as is the 3-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission have approximately 500 miles on them since being rebuilt, along with the rest of the car. The black exterior paint is by PPG and is accented by a double red pin stripe that runs down each side. The grayish brown cloth interior is in very good condition, showing little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 35,642, the actual mileage is unknown, but approximately 500 miles have been put on the car since the build was complete.
