Under the hood appears to be the original 350 CID V8 motor paired to a freshly rebuilt (August, 2017) automatic transmission. Bolted to the block is an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. This car also features A/C, and chrome components and accessories, as well as steel braided hoses. Up front is an aftermarket aluminum radiator to help keep this baby running cool on those hot days.

The yellow exterior paint is in excellent condition and is accented nicely with L-82 stripes and a rear spoiler. Under the car is a killer set of 20 inch chrome Boss wheels that give this classic Vette an updated modern appearance.

While the L48 engine, a 350 cubic-inch Chevy small block did not produce much power, a mere 165 horsepower, the transmission is a rare option of the 4-speed manual transmission for Corvettes in this year and certainly brings it up a notch. 1968 would be the first year if what many consider the best looking of all Chevelle-s. With a much rounder and sleeker shape, the new body style was an instant success. As with previous years the El Camino would be based on the Chevelle with the front end being that of the Chevelle. This example would make a terrific addition to any collection or even use as a daily driver. The paint is clean and shows well with no signs of any major body work. Under the hood is the original 250 CI straight six that many believe is the best inline six ever made. Mated up to another great staple from GM the power glide transmission shifts out just as it should. Putting power to the ground is a 10-bolt rear end that has a set of 3. 73 gears giving it a great mix of off the line acceleration and top end torque.
