The Chevy II was a subcompact vehicle that General Motors produced from 1962 to 1979 though the Chevy II nameplate was dropped in 69 becoming simply the Nova. The Chevy II was a direct aim at ford's highly successful Falcon which had caught the whole industry off guard. Once the design team had the green light the first production model rolled off the assembly line 18 months later which to this day still stands as the fastest new car development in GM history. Though the Chevy II was originally intended to be an economical car for the masses it wasn-t long until hot rodders everywhere seen the potential of this little coupe eventually making it an icon in the hotrod world. This gorgeous blue and white Chevy II has been completely redone. The car was originally built as a rolling chassis with all new sheet metal hung and then went from there. To be a little different than most the builder decided to guy with a 283 with a small cam just to give it a little grunt.
