This 2nd generation GTO is a great example of a very nice restomod done well. Being a true 242 car, this GTO is the real deal and after the GTO was named Motor Trends car of the year in 1968, this was a highly sought-after year. By 1968 the car was beginning to become dated, so a new model with a fastback design was released, and the public went car crazy. 1969 would bring what many believe to be the most desirable GTO to come out of the Motor City. The FJ43 is nearly the same as its slightly smaller FJ40 brother, but it has a longer wheelbase. Produced until 1984, the FJ43 has been able to command somewhat of a premium vs. the FJ40, because of its more limited availability than the FJ40.
