This Flame Red beauty was sold new by Davidson Motor Co. out of Lexington, N. C. on 04/08/1955 according to the original order form, and the ownership lineage is documented. This 210 is powered by a strong running 350CID Chevy small block that is running through the TH400 automatic transmission. The chromed Chevrolet valve covers, the Edelbrock 'Performer RPM Q-Jet' intake, Hypertech distributor & coil, electric fan set up & an updated R134 A/C system are but a few of the improvements made under the hood. The suspension & bushings have all be replaced and front disc brakes & an oversized sway bar have been added up front to ensure a nice, tight ride. A newer exhaust system and fuel tank were also added. There are not many American classics on the road today that are as iconic as one of the 'Tri-Fives', and this one is no exception! 1956 marked the last year of the second generation of Bel Air-s. This Stepside pickup has recently been through a frame-off restoration creating one unbelievable Restomod. Starting with a completely rust-free truck, the body was removed from the frame where the chassis underwent several modifications. 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes were added, and the steering was updated with a power rack & pinion set up. A stainless-steel fuel tank was dropped in between the frame rails behind the rear axle. This replaces the original fuel tank that was behind the seat from the factory. New lowering springs were placed in the rear with drop spindles up front. All suspension bushings were replaced as well. The body of the truck is very good, with fit and finish being a major focus. The deep black paint has a high gloss finish. All the chrome and stainless are new along with all the glass and weather stripping. Wood floor in bed and custom frenched taillights in the fenders.
