Being one of the most desirable classic cars to date, this beauty is ready to hit the roads and in great condition. These beauties are also known as the -tri-5s- which are the --55,-56, and -57 models that many people still love to this day.

This 210 is powered by a strong running 350 CID V8 that has roughly 800 miles on it since the rebuild. The engine is paired to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. This car has all the nice -Bel Air- trim so the average passerby wouldn-t even notice the difference. To ensure the car remains cool on those hot summer days, the car was fitted with a large Performance Rod & Custom aluminum radiator. The radiator is paired with dual electric fans to help with cooling the engine. With a sleek red paint and the brushed aluminum along the iconic fin we all love. The car sits on a nice set of Streeter Show Wheels that make the car stand out a bit more. The vent windows were removed to separate it from the others on the road, which add a nice custom touch.

Undergoing a nice restoration, this car is ready to hit the pavement. After roughly 12 years of ownership, it's time for this beauty to find a new home and put more smiles on other faces.

Body - restored for 2 years the color is a custom mix of pearl orange with pearl white stripes, has been mini tubbed, new quarters on both sides and new tail panel, fiberglass cowl hood, firewall smoothed. all new chrome, new grill, emblems all rubbers and fells. L. E. D. rear taillights.

Motor- Vortec crate 350, Crane 292 duration cam, 700 double pumper carb, MSD ignition, 6 AL box, new rad, 100 amp chrome alt, Edelbrock Vortec intake, chrome alt. bracket, headers with Flowmaster exhaust kit, electric fan with shroud, stainless top hose, braided hose kit for heater hoses, electric fuel pump.

Transmission- 700 R-4 overdrive, 30-spline shaft with 3000 stall non locking, has all the good stuff in trans, big trans cooler, B&M Quicksilver shifter. All together there is roughly 1500 miles on the build.

When introduced, the Chevelle was intended to compete with the Fairlane, and was supposed to reflect a car similar in size to the Classic Tri-Five of the decade prior. They would go down as being some of the most memorable cars of our time. This bad boy features a fire-breathing 375 HP 396 CID V8, which is backed by a 4-speed manual. The 396 features a Holley 4BBL carb, aluminum intake, and headers to funnel the spent fossils into its dual exhaust system, which has that classic big block muscle car sound we all love. The big 396 sends its twist out back to a limited-slip (Posi-trac) GM 12-bolt rear end with 3. 73:1 gears, which is a very nice ratio for both acceleration and cruising. This 1966 Chevelle SS for sale has plenty of low-end torque for getting away at those stop lights, and plenty of power for passing most mere excuses for cars. Overall, except for the slotted and drilled front brake rotors and the dual gauge cluster under the dash, everything looks 'factory', which is very cool indeed! Between the 'Blue Flame' engine and unique transmission, this car is definitely a time capsule from an earlier era of performance cars.

Under the hood of this beauty is an unusual engine by modern Corvette standards, an I6. That's right, this beauty comes with Chevrolet's 235 CID Blue Flame straight six. The engine is notable for having three side draft Carter carburetors and a relatively high compression ratio for the time. Ensuring the relability and cosmetic appeal of this engine is a rebuild and repaint performed by Lee's Paint and Body here in Houston, Texas. Sending the power to the rear end is Chevrolet's very unique and quirky Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine roughly 1,000 miles ago. This one features extensive mechanical work to ensure its reliability and drivability. Some of the work done to the car include the rebuilt powertrain, new battery, fuel tank and hardline flush, new fuel pump and filter, new emergency brake hardware, and a new brake line. Receipts are included and show exaclty what has been done to the car recently.
