The Mustang Convertible only has 83468 miles on it. Recently coming out of storage from the last 20 years, this Mustang is in excellent condition. The Mustang was purchased used from a dealership in 1979. At that time the little vert had 78000 miles on it. The factory 3-speed manual transmission adds to the fun factor, as you shift through the gears! The owner had the original C-Code 289 rebuilt and changed the color of the car from Sauterne Gold to Ember Glow, another Ford color. The metallic in the paint really gleams when the sun hits it. 1967 would bring the first major redesign since the original pony car was released in 64. 5. Although it was much longer and wider the wheelbase would stay the same. The grill on the 67's are much larger giving the Mustang a meaner more sinister look. This 67 has gone through an extensive amount of work to bring it to its current state. Probably the first thing that grabs your attention is the paint. Smooth and shiny the Clear Water Aqua is an original 67 color. With the paint in excellent shape it would be an absolute shame to put some old chrome back on it. As you can tell going with new bumpers front and rear was an excellent choice. With all new weather stripping, rubber and windshield this Pony is practically brand new outside. Open the door and you will see a very clean interior that has been well put together. With new carpet on the bottom and a headliner up top the light colored vinyl seats are the perfect color to offset the two. Naturally all this looks good but if it doesn't run then who cares. Known as the '64 1/2 this early production drop top is a mostly original California car purchased from a woman in California in the 1970's and added to a very special collection of high-quality cars where it has remained until recently. The car has always remained in a climate control storage facility where it has been looked after and patiently waiting for it's new owner.
