This 55' has borrowed a 429 powerplant and C6 transmission to help it breeze down the road on a sunny afternoon. Options include: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Cassette Radio, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Cloth Interior, Chrome Wheels with Chrome Moon Hub Caps, Radial Tires, and Trailer Hitch. In 1953 Ford wanted a more integrated look and opted for a redesign of the F Series, also changing the names, the F1 was now known as the F100. Amenities now available were a dome light, arm rest, sun visors, and a radio.
Open the hood of this F100 and you will find an Edlebrock carburetor sitting atop the strong 429 CID Ford engine, surrounded by aluminum and chrome on all sides, with headers as an added bonus. Steel braided lines mixed throughout the engine bay, a new fan and aluminum radiator shroud tie everything together. The freshly rebuilt 3 speed C6 transmission smoothly converts the power to the rear wheels.
