Originally purchased by the current owner several years ago, he decided he wanted a street rod, but something that was a little different than all the Ford and Chevys running around. So the project began! The Olds Business Coupe was stripped down t the metal including the frame. A Camaro sub frame was added; the car was then reassembled and painted in Red with a tasteful flamed pin stripping on the sides. A fresh 350 CID Chevrolet engine with a 350 Turbo Hydramatic transmission was installed. The current drive train only has 6447 miles on it. Inside the bucket seats, door panels and area behind the seats have been covered in very nice leather like vinyl. New Breede Gauges monitor all vital functions including; oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, fuel level, speed and mileage....

In 1984 Chevrolet introduced 'the Camaro that thinks it's a Corvette' or the IROC-Z. IROC-Z or the International race of champions was a sanctioned SCCA event that matched up the best of the best auto racers in identically prepared cars. Although it was a complete fan favorite it had sponsorship issues beginning in 2006 and would end its storied run a year later. Much like the series Chevy's IROC-Z would have a short but truly loved life. This 89 is a time capsule with nothing being touched and in unbelievable condition it is sure to be on very collector's wish list. Bought right here in KY by the original owner who, unfortunately, fell on hard times just 8 months & 10000 miles later would wind up selling it to the current owner. With the odometer currently sitting right under 13000 miles this IROC-Z is far from the norm. We have all seen the ones that have lived a rough life and are either rotting away in someone's yard or have been pieced back together from 20 different cars. Ford Motor Company the Model A in 1927 and over 5 short years of production managed to sell over 4. 8 million Model As. Production figures like this are unheard of with modern vehicles. Of course, not one Model A is just like the other. There is over 35 body styles that all share the same platform. From Roadsters, to sedans, to pickups, to coupes, and even delivery trucks, the model served many purposes. This particular 1929 is a Sports Coupe. The roof is covered in canvas which gives the appearance of a roadster, when in fact, the roof is fixed. This one has an incredibly desirable feature: a rumble seat. The rumble seat offered additional seating for two outside of the covered cabin. Flip open the rumble seat, climb up the fender and hop in for a very exciting ride. During the time it was known as the Chevy II, the Nova was the top model until the Chevy II nameplate was dropped, Nova becoming the nameplate for the 1969 through 1979 models were then built on the X-body platform. The third generation of the Nova brought a fully redesigned line-up that now sported a longer 111- wheelbase. Sporting a very gorgeous Red exterior coat, this Nova would look great no matter where you put it and when you open the door to take a peek inside you will find a Red and Black cloth interior.
