This beautiful car spent much of its time in Texas before being bought and transported to Illinois 25 years ago by the current owner. After owning and enjoying the car for the past 25 years its time for it to find a new owner. Repainted in PPG black paint the car has held up well thanks to being stored in a climate controlled environment. Under the hood lies what is believed to be the original 292 CID V8 paired to an automatic 3-speed transmission. The noise is emitted through a dual chrome tip exhaust coming out the rear bumper. Black exterior matches the clean black and white leather interior. The Dash has maintained its originality. The odometer currently reads 73,479 miles. These original E-Series flat nose trucks were only built from 1961 to 1967. The Econoline Pickup was a 2-door variation of the 1st Generation Ford and Mercury Econoline 3-dr vans. In the first year of production 15,000 pickups were made and sold. Its early success led to adoption from competitors including the classic Dodge A100 van and pickup models. This little Econoline has been repainted in a gorgeous Chevy Red that pops when in direct sunlight. The 302 CID V8 and 3-speed automatic transmission make for a great driving combo in this truck. The body has also been refurbished. Inside the interior has been kept very basic with a set of blak bucket seats and a rubber mat versus carpet for easy cleaning.
