Heading into the mid 60s Chevy was on a hot streak! Corvette had been performing well, both on the track and on paper. Recently off the successful and well received C1 design the C2 debuted in 1963 and the world was ready. The launch of the C2 Stingray captivated America and nearly everybody was itching to get behind the wheel of what would become one of the most loved generations of the long running Corvette line!
