1961 Chevrolet Impala
View Description
1961 saw the first year of the third generation for the successful Impala. The new design was trimmer and boxier than its predecessor. While there were a few different trims for 1961 what we have here is the sport coupe which offered a thin rear roof pillar and an oversized rear window. In time this is what enthusiasts would come to call the bubbletop. Highly sought after by collectors for their design and value, these specific Impalas are easily identified and turn heads everywhere! This fine example upon approach you are dazzled with light glinting off the chrome and fresh Black paint. The stance of this car is right because of the airbags on all four corners. This car can go from low rider to hot rod is about 10 seconds flat. The giant chrome rims with the low profile tires really set the car off. No matter the angle, front to back you can easily see the time and care that went into the build. Under the hood is a massive 502 CI V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This car sounds meaner than anything on the road and will surely scare...
