The Second Generation (1971-1974) Plymouth Road Runner saw significant styling changes including a steeper windshield rake, hidden cowl and deeply inset grille and headlights. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. Documentation and the build sheet are extensive for this beauty. The hugger orange paint was thrown down 14 years ago and shines fantastically showing no major defect or flaw. Under the hood is nicely built 383 stroker with a B&M 871 blower. Tons of goodies are packed into this motor and held up by a 4 bolt main 350. The tune is conservative and runs on 91 pump gas. The gentleman who built it was not a racer, but had an appreciation for speed and hot rods. The transmission is a TCI power glide with manual valve body.
