Painted in Fathom Green with black stripes and a black vinyl roof complimented by a set of period correct American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and a Midnight Green vinyl interior that is complimented by an optional teak steering wheel. Powering this SS Camaro is a 300 horsepower 350 cubic inch small block V8. There were more than a handful of V8s available in 1969. For small blocks, this V8 had the highest rated horsepower. By this time, GM was well known for under rating their horsepower figures. Engine options available for the '69 Camaro started with a six cylinder rated at 155 h. p. , 307 V8 rated at 200 h. p. , 302 V8 (Z/28) rated at 290 h. p. , 327 at 210, three 350s rated at 225, 250 and 300 h. p. and three different 396 big blocks ranging from 325 horsepower to 375 horsepower with optional aluminum heads. Many sources claim the 302 from the Z/28 to produce closer to the upper 300 range. However GM claims the 300 horsepower 350 t o be the most powerful small block offered for the 1969 Camaro.
