1970 was the last and greatest year for the horsepower war. The LS-6 454 produced an underrated 450 horsepower and was not to be messed with. This was the Hemi's arch nemesis and for good reason. High compression, solid lifters, high lift camshaft with loads of duration and an aluminum intake manifold with a thirsty 800 cfm Holley carburetor.
