The original Beetle was produced from 1938-2003. In those 65 years of production, 21,529,464 'bugs' were made. The last couple decades the Beetle was manufactured in Puebla Mexico, where it is commonly referred to as the 'Vochito. ' With just over 14,000 original miles on the 1600cc air cooled engine this 'Vochito' will be dodging extermination for quite some time. This modernized version of the 1. 6 liter power plant features fuel injection and a electronic ignition, while producing 44 horsepower. It is backed by a 4 speed manual transmission. This isn't your typical Bug. This '70 Beetle is sporting a water cooled 2. 0 inline 4 cylinder. The horsepower is unknown, but this little Beet will really scoot. With twin carburetors and a free flowing exhaust, she'll really scream. The radiator is mounted up front, with vents in the 'hood' to allow for air flow as well as electric fans. The V-Dub is finished in a beautiful coat of orange paint which is slick and glossy. It is a very sharp color for a vehicle from 1970. Another nice period style addition is the MiniLite style wheels. These racing wheels are polished and are wrapped in a new set of radial tires. Look through the spokes and you'll see disc brakes in all four corners. This yellow Bug comes with the larger, more desirable 1,835CC motor with less than 1,000 miles since being rebuilt! The manual transmission was also just rebuilt and she runs and drives outstanding! All of the work was professionally done by Fishers Buggies.
