Before that rock band ever even thought about coming to America, this is what -Beetle mania- really meant. A vehicle designed for efficiency and economy, by Ferdinand Porsche, it is one of the good things to come out of Pre-World War II Germany. The engine in this cool little VW Beetle has been upgraded from the 1200 cc engine to the more powerful 1910 cc engine. The power from the engine is transferred to manual 4-speed transmission. The only option for a 1966 VW Beetle is a manual sunroof and this Volkswagen has it! The interior is a combination of tan leather with cloth inserts.
