The late --60s saw the birth of the Muscle Car movement that became a phenomenon throughout the entire world. By the 1970-s the -Big 3- were in competition to create muscle cars that could be custom ordered with big block engines and other high performance options. The Chevrolet Chevelle was the Zenith of the line and the SS 454 set the bar for all muscle cars of that era. This LS5 is a prime example of a numbers matching big-block with all of good stuff. To start this Cranberry Red beauty has gleaming paint with a black stripe running past the chrome hood pins right up to the vacuum powered cowl induction. The contrast continues with a period correct vinyl top.
