This Dodge had a frame off restoration in 2002 that also included an engine rebuild. These early Dodge pickups are becoming more difficult to find and especially in restored condition. This D50 was updated with an automatic over drive transmission, Air Conditioning, Power steering, Power brakes, Cruise control, and an AM/FM radio with a CD player. The engine is a small block Chevy with a small cam, Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor and a nice set of headers to let it breath a bit better. The overdrive transmission is a 700R4 and the rear end consist of a Chevy 10 bolt with 3. 73 gears. Just enough to have fun yet still get on the highway and cruise with ease. An adjustable Air Ride rear suspension will allow you to sit low or raise up a bit for more of a raked appearance. Certainly an upgrade from the old leaf springs. Inside is very pleasant with cloth bucket seats, an array of Dolphin gauges to keep an eye on the particulars, custom made door panels and cruise control on the blinker stalk.
