This '29 Model A Roadster is powered by a 305 cubic inch V8 engine backed by a Power Glide 2-speed automatic transmission running to a Ford 9' rear end. No expense was spared in the restoration and build of this custom '29 Roadster. The build started with an original Model A steel body channeled 4' over the frame. Custom sheet metal was used for the rear wall, transmission tunnel and floor. Custom touches include a '62 VW split window bash bezel and speedometer, '32 grille with inserts sectioned 5'' and a chopped windshield. This 34' Ford is all steel, and has been chopped, bobbed, narrowed, and pinched to achieve this unique and killer look. Powering this 34' Ford is a 327 small block Chevrolet engine that was born in 1967 and rebuilt in 2016. The rebuild consisted of a bore of. 010, new pistons, bearings, mild cam, a Rochester Tripower setup, SS fuel lines, and an MSD ignition. Providing the also sound are the SS shorty headers/exhaust and Borla mufflers. The 700R4 automatic transmission was also rebuilt in 2016, and transfers the power to the 9' Currie rear end that houses Strange 3. 73 gears. Strange coil overs and Wilwood disc brakes adorn all four corners with SS brake lines. This piece of rolling art starts using one of the better fiberglass bodies currently produced in the Hot Rod Scene, an Outlaw body, running boards and chassis. The gorgeous paint is -98 color used on Ford Rangers, Bright Atlantic Metallic. A billet has been added for a bit of flash on the outside. Getting the stance just right is a set upper and lower tubular A The-Arms with 2 inch dropped spindles. The steering is handled by a manual rack and pinion by Flaming River. The rear suspension consists of a triangulated 4 bar set-up with a Currie 9-inch rear end loaded with 3. 25 gears.
