The term street rod means a lot of different things to different people. The true definition is a vehicle that was manufactured prior to 1949 that has had modifications done to the drivetrain, body, and interior. With that in mind I would say this 35 Chevy has met all of those requirements and then some. The engine is a crate small block 350 that sounds great and powers this street rod nicely down the road. This 1951 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible has received a full frame off treatment. This is now a super custom 1951 Chevrolet Chopped Convertible restyled by Custom Auto of Loveland, Colorado. The car received some extensive customizing. It has a custom built chassis with Air Ride suspension. It's chopped 3' up front and 4' in the back, and features a removable hardtop with a 1948 Ford rear glass. Probably the greatest feature of any good cruiser however is the A/C which blows ice cold.
