The 1972 Chevelle-s were treated to a new front-end and rear-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper and integral park/signal/marker lights. New dual round taillights were integral with the back bumper which is arguably the best looking rear end design for the Chevelle. This Chevelle is equipped with a 427 CID Big Block V8 that was professionally built and provides a broad powerband and provides power at all speeds. Paired to that big block monster under the hood is the 4-speed manual Muncie M-22 transmission that shifts smooth throughout all of the gears. Powering this 69- Chevelle is a recently rebuilt, 396 CID big block V8 engine with a Weiand aluminum intake, chrome air cleaner, alloy valve covers, and a mild cam. Headers flow to the full exhaust and creates an awesome growl. A 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter transfers the power to the 12-bolt rear end with authority. The dark green metallic paint is accented with gold racing stripes. The paint was applied in 2006, and looks fantastic, as it still shines like new. The black interior also looks great, minimal wear to the dash and console, and new upholstery.
