Yenko Chevrolet was located in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and was owned by Don Yenko, a retired race car driver and muscle car aficionado. Mr. Yenko retooled Novas, Camaros, and Chevelles to compete with the Barracudas, Challengers, and Mustangs of the time. The 'Yenko SuperNovas' as they came to be called featured a strengthened the frame and suspension to accommodate for larger and more powerful 427 CID V8 engine. Thirty-seven SuperNovas were known to be produced, of which only seven are believed to be remaining. The color combination is second to none on this 72' Nova, finished in a beautiful black exterior paint against a fabulous red vinyl interior. The entire driveline (engine, transmission, and rear end) has been recently rebuilt and has only traveled and few hundred miles since the work was complete.
