1962 Ford Galaxie

View Description

The Ford Galaxie was a full size car built by Ford from 1959 to 1974. The name was used from 59 to 61 with 62 being the first year with the '500' and '500/XL' denoting the higher series. This 62 is the latter of the bunch coming from the factory with a lot of high end options for 62. Probably one of the most desirable options for 62 was the center console bucket seat option which this 62 has. It is rare option for 1962, since it was only available as a midyear release to try and compete with GM's SS option on their flagship Impala. The 62's are getting harder to find not to mention this one has only had 3 owners in its lifetime. This Galaxie has had a complete frame off restoration and it definitely shows. The body is as straight and the black paint showing off just how nice it really is. The bright work is in excellent shape with the front and rear bumpers being re-plated this 62 shines as if it was 1962 all over. Hit the switch on the fresh black convertible top and let the hydraulics do the rest of the work. With...

1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL

View Description

The totally restyled Galaxies were much sleeker in 64. The NASCAR inspired hardtop model was an instant hit with its low slung roofline it not only looked great but proved to be very aerodynamic as well. Though the main attraction that year was the introduction of the Mustang there was plenty of other reasons to get excited at the blue oval. With an emphasis on performance you could choose a number of different power plants for all of their cars. This 64 hardtop came from the factory with Ford's monster 390 4 barrel which is what lies under the hood now. With the restoration receipts totaling about 28000 there was not a penny spared on this beauty. The motor runs great and looks as if it just rolled off the line. The transmission is the classic Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed that shifts nice and smooth. The rear end has a set of 3. 25 gears giving you decent acceleration but can actually cruise down the highway with the motor turning somewhere between 23 and 25 hundred RPM. The body on this 64 is as straight as they come with a period correct Samoan Coral paint accented by the Wimbledon white roof the...

1927 Ford Roadster

View Description

This Ford Electric Red --27 Roadster has been painstakingly and meticulously put together over the past two years and with just over 500 miles on the build. The owner is ready to start his next project so this has to go. With over $25000. 00 in receipts there really was no expense spared on the build of this sleek Roadster. The front end has been dipped with chrome accents to give it a very clean, highly customized look. The 305 crate motor has also been dressed with a chrome accent kit keeping everything upfront gleaming. The engine is capped off with chrome headers that are feeding the dual side pipes that give this Roadster a mean low and loud growl. The interior was completed with matching red and black interior that has been accented, like the rest of the car, with a chrome steering column. The Lokar shifter has been hooked up to Chevy's...

1977 Toyota FJ40

View Description

The Toyota J40 is the model designation for a Toyota Land Cruiser 40 series made from 1960 until 1984 (in Brazil, where it was known as the Toyota Bandeirante, it was made from 1968 until 2001). Most 40 series Land Cruisers were built as two-door vehicles with slightly larger dimensions than a Jeep CJ. While not legal in some countries, most J40 series vehicles could have their roof and doors removed. With a folding windshield this allowed for complete open-air experience. These alternatives to the Classic Jeep have a following all their own and the demand to find and owned these rugged 4x4-s is on the rise. This particular FJ40 is a true barn find that has been brought back to its glory buy the current owner. Covered in dust and a back yard black paint job, the owner could envision the diamond in the ruff this jewel was to become. A fresh battery, little gas down the carb and the rock solid 4. 2 liter 2F inline 6 cylinder came to life. With the engine in such good shape, the engine compartment only required a good clean up. The body of this classic 4x4 was another story. The body was...

1968 AMC AMX

View Description

In 1968 AMC would introduce the first all steel American Built two seater since Ford's 55-57 T-bird. Considered by many to be more of a competitor to the Corvette for substantially less money, the AMX set a number of records. Two specially prepared AMX's set a total of 106 world speed & endurance records in January 1968. Driven at Goodyear's track in Texas by Craig Breedlove, his wife Lee Breedlove and Ron Dykes. This Little AMX is a great example of what they came like considering it has not been touched. What you see is a true survivor that has been driven and maintained. Originally bought new in Louisville KY for the wife of the owner of an AMX dealership. The car has just about every option in 68 including AC and ofcourse the highly sought after ' Go Package''. Yes that-s right this a completely authentic, beleived to be 3 owner, Go Pac car with factory AC. Under the hood the original 390 putting out 315 ponies with an asphalt pounding, tire shredding, lay down the nastiest burnout 425lb-ft it's no wonder they made such a limited number of them. With only 2287 automatics built that year and very few...
