Yeah, this 1969 Firebird is a nasty piece, but you already figured that out, didn't you? With a thundering recently built fire breathing 468 cubic inch V8 under the pointed hood, paint that belongs on a show circuit, and an interior with a few extra tricks, this is the Pontiac that will make you the star of the show everywhere you go.
Prior to its transformation, this was just a mild-mannered Firebird with a wheezing 2-barrel carb, minimal, and an inoffensive color scheme. Yeah, that all had to go, and instead it got stripped to the bone and rebuilt, starting with giving it a predatory look. The original finish was replaced by the drop-dead-gorgeous anthracite gray finish that's simply incredible by any measure. The original twin-nostril hood, which can look silly on anything that isn't running a nasty V8 underneath, gives this particular Firebird an outrageously sinister look and emphasizes the pointed snout that made Pontiac famous in the '60s. It's also nice to see that it wasn't given the faux Trans Am look and the chrome snout looks especially good against the gray paint.
